What is FlashFXP
FlashFXP is a Windows-based FTP client used to transfer files between a local machine and remote servers over FTP, FTPS, and SFTP. FlashFXP supports common file transfer protocols used in business environments, including FTP, FTPS (TLS/SSL), and SFTP. This allows users to connect to a wide range of hosting providers and internal servers without changing tools. It also includes features such as site management and connection options that help standardize repeatable connections.
Efficient interactive transfer workflow
The client provides a queue-based transfer model, enabling users to stage multiple uploads/downloads and run them in sequence. It supports common desktop productivity features such as drag-and-drop, resume/retry behavior, and directory comparison/synchronization workflows. These capabilities fit ad hoc operational tasks where a user supervises transfers from a workstation.
Desktop-focused administration features
FlashFXP includes saved site profiles, bookmarks, and configurable transfer rules that help users manage many endpoints. It provides logging and status feedback suitable for troubleshooting connectivity and transfer issues. For teams that do not need a server component, a standalone client can be simpler to deploy than managed file transfer platforms.
Windows-only desktop client
