What is Infura
Infura is a managed blockchain infrastructure service that provides API access to Ethereum and other supported networks without requiring teams to run their own nodes. It is used by Web3 application developers for JSON-RPC requests, event subscriptions, and related developer tooling. The service focuses on reliability features such as managed node operations, scaling, and usage-based plans, with optional add-ons for enhanced traffic handling and monitoring.

Infura provides hosted endpoints that let teams interact with supported blockchains without maintaining node hardware, storage, and client upgrades.
