What is Superpeer
Superpeer is a creator-focused live video platform for hosting live streams, 1:1 calls, and ticketed sessions. It targets independent creators, coaches, and small teams that monetize live video through paid events, memberships, or consultations. The product combines scheduling, payments, and a branded viewing experience, with options to embed sessions on external sites and distribute replays.
Monetization and checkout built in
Superpeer supports paid live sessions and 1:1 calls with integrated checkout, reducing the need for separate payment and ticketing tools. This fits creators who sell access to live content rather than running large-scale conferences. It also supports replay distribution, which helps extend revenue beyond the live event window.
Creator-oriented session formats
The platform is designed around common creator workflows such as office hours, coaching calls, and small-group live sessions. Scheduling and attendee access are streamlined for these formats compared with enterprise webinar tools. This focus can reduce setup time for recurring sessions and series.
Embeddable and brandable experience
Superpeer provides a branded landing and viewing experience and supports embedding sessions into external websites. This helps creators keep their audience on owned channels rather than redirecting to a generic event portal. It can also simplify integration with existing creator sites and newsletters.
Limited enterprise event capabilities
Superpeer is not positioned for complex, multi-track conferences or large-scale event operations. Organizations that need advanced agenda management, exhibitor/sponsor modules, or extensive attendee networking may require additional systems. Reporting and governance features typically expected by larger enterprises may also be limited.
Community features are lightweight
While Superpeer can support memberships and recurring audiences, it is not a full community management suite with deep forums, segmentation, gamification, or advocacy workflows. Teams that run structured communities with moderation queues, knowledge bases, and advanced engagement analytics may find gaps. Many community-centric programs will need complementary platforms.
Integrations and extensibility constraints
Compared with broader video and event ecosystems, Superpeer offers a narrower set of native integrations and administrative controls. Complex automation across CRM, marketing, and analytics stacks may require manual processes or third-party connectors. This can be a constraint for teams that rely on standardized enterprise tooling.
Plan & Pricing
Pricing model: Pay-as-you-go Free tier/trial: No monthly subscription; creators are charged only on paid transactions (platform revenue-share + payment processing). Live sessions on Skillshare/YouTube can be free to attend; digital products may be offered for free via a 100% discount code. (See notes below.) Example costs:
- Platform fee: 10% of the full amount charged for 1:1 Sessions and digital products.
- Payment processing (Stripe): 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
- Withdrawal fee (Wise): small additional withdrawal fee when withdrawing payouts (Skillshare notes ~ $1 for USD withdrawals).
- Special exception: For 1:1 Sessions occurring on or after April 1, 2024, Skillshare applies the 10% platform fee only to the first $2,000 USD you earn each month from 1:1s; earnings above $2,000 in the same month do not incur the platform fee and the fee is credited back. Discount options: No public volume/commitment/enterprise discounts are documented in the official Skillshare Help Center pages for Superpeer/Shop offerings.
