What is Lightdash
Lightdash is an open-source business intelligence and analytics platform designed to let teams explore data and build dashboards on top of a dbt project. It targets analytics engineers and data teams that model data in the warehouse and want governed self-serve reporting for business users. Lightdash uses dbt models and metrics as the semantic layer, and it can be deployed as a managed cloud service or self-hosted.
