What is Fulcrum
Fulcrum is a mobile data collection and workflow platform that lets organizations build forms, capture field data (including photos and GPS), and sync results to a central database. It is used by field teams for inspections, audits, asset inventories, and environmental, quality, and safety reporting. The product combines configurable mobile forms with mapping and location-based data capture, plus integrations and an API for downstream systems.
Strong offline mobile data capture
Fulcrum supports field data collection on mobile devices with offline capability and later synchronization. This fits teams working in remote areas or facilities with limited connectivity. It also supports rich capture types such as photos and location metadata, which are common requirements for inspections and EHS documentation.
Configurable forms and workflows
Users can create and modify forms without building a custom mobile app, enabling faster iteration as inspection checklists or compliance requirements change. GIS-aware data and exports

EHS depth depends on configuration
Fulcrum can support EHS and inspection processes, but many domain-specific capabilities (e.g., incident management, corrective actions, regulatory content libraries, and advanced compliance reporting) may require configuration, integrations, or external tooling. Teams expecting a turnkey EHS management suite may need additional products or custom workflow design. This can increase implementation effort for complex programs.
Advanced reporting may require BI tools
The platform provides access to collected data, but organizations often rely on exports, APIs, or external analytics tools for complex dashboards and cross-dataset reporting. This can add dependency on data pipelines and reporting infrastructure. For stakeholders who expect extensive built-in analytics, the out-of-box experience may feel limited.
