What is CloudBeaver
CloudBeaver is a web-based SQL client and database administration interface built on the DBeaver platform. It provides browser access to connect to and work with multiple database types for tasks such as querying, browsing schema objects, and basic administration. It is typically used by teams that want a centrally hosted, vendor-neutral database UI with role-based access and shared connections. CloudBeaver is deployed as a server application (often via containers) rather than as a desktop IDE.

Security depends on configuration
As a web-exposed database access layer, CloudBeaver’s risk profile depends heavily on correct authentication, authorization, and network controls. Misconfiguration can increase exposure compared with local-only tools. Some environments may require additional controls (SSO integration, audit logging, hardened hosting) beyond default settings.
