Plan & Pricing
Pricing model: Free app (no subscription) + pay-as-you-go network/processing fees Free tier/trial: Coinbase Wallet app is free to download and use; no time-limited trial. What you pay for (examples from official Coinbase pages):
- Network / gas fees: Transactions sent on blockchain networks require network (miner/gas) fees; fees are estimated and disclosed at the time of transaction.
- NFT mint fees (Base app): Non-gallery mint total = Creator price + 0.0001 ETH (referral fee 0.00005 ETH + platform fee 0.00005 ETH). Gallery mint total = Creator price + 0.000125 ETH (sum of various small fees).
- Lightning Network processing fee (when sending via Lightning): 0.2% of amount transferred.
- USDT processing fee (withdrawals): 0.01% of amount transferred, capped at 20 USDT (plus network transaction fee).
- Large USDC conversion processing: 0.10% applied to net conversion amounts above a $5 million threshold (developer/help disclosures).
Notes & where fees appear: Fees that are charged by the blockchain (gas/miner fees) are not Coinbase subscription fees — they are network fees and may be estimated by Coinbase Wallet; other processing/feature fees (e.g., minting, Lightning, token-specific processing) are disclosed on Coinbase Help pages at the time of the transaction.
Discounts / enterprise pricing: Not applicable to the consumer Wallet app. (Coinbase developer platform lists separate API/embedded-wallet pricing for developers on the Coinbase Developer site.)
