What is Exoprise
Exoprise is a SaaS-based digital experience monitoring platform that measures the performance and availability of business-critical applications and network services from the perspective of end users. It supports IT operations and end-user computing teams with synthetic tests and endpoint-based monitoring to troubleshoot issues affecting SaaS apps, UCaaS/voice, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet paths. The product emphasizes external and last-mile visibility by running tests from agents on endpoints and from distributed monitoring points, helping teams isolate whether problems originate on the device, local network, ISP, or cloud service.
Endpoint and last-mile visibility
Exoprise collects performance data from endpoint agents and combines it with active tests to map user-impacting issues across device, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, ISP, and SaaS. This approach helps distinguish local environmental problems from upstream service degradation. It is particularly relevant for distributed workforces where traditional data-center monitoring does not capture user experience.
Synthetic monitoring for SaaS
The platform runs scripted synthetic transactions and network tests to validate availability and response times for common enterprise services. Synthetic checks provide continuous coverage even when real-user traffic is low or intermittent. This supports proactive detection and SLA-style reporting for externally hosted applications.
Broad collaboration and network tests
Exoprise includes monitoring patterns geared toward collaboration and productivity services (for example, voice/video quality and service reachability) alongside DNS, HTTP, traceroute, and other path diagnostics. Having these tests in one tool can reduce the need to pivot between separate endpoint and network utilities. The resulting evidence can speed escalation with ISPs or cloud/SaaS providers.
Not a full-stack APM suite
Exoprise focuses on digital experience and network-path monitoring rather than deep application code instrumentation. Teams needing distributed tracing, service-level dependency mapping, and in-process profiling may require additional tooling. This can increase operational overhead when end-to-end observability is a requirement.
Agent deployment and governance overhead
Endpoint monitoring typically requires deploying and maintaining agents across managed devices. In environments with strict security controls, VDI, or BYOD constraints, rollout and ongoing updates can be complex. Data collection policies and privacy considerations may also require additional governance work.
Coverage depends on test design
Synthetic monitoring effectiveness depends on how well tests represent real user workflows and how broadly monitoring locations match the user population. Poorly designed scripts can miss intermittent issues or generate false positives. Maintaining scripts as SaaS UIs and authentication flows change can add ongoing effort.
Plan & Pricing
Pricing model: Credit-based / Pay-as-you-go (usage)
Free tier/trial: Free trial available — up to 15 days; trial allows deployment of up to 3 synthetic sensors OR up to 50 Service Watch Browser users OR up to 25 Service Watch Desktop devices; no credit card required to start. (Trial does not start until first deployment.)
Example costs (from official Exoprise site):
- Exoprise credit (list price): $100 per credit per month. Most synthetics are 1 credit (i.e.,
$100/month each); some synthetics consume 1/2 credit ($50/month). - Service Watch (credit model): Service Watch Browser for ~50 users = 1 credit; Service Watch Desktop monitors up to 25 devices per credit. (i.e., 1 credit = $100/month for 25–50 users depending on deployment).
- Service Watch Desktop (alternate per-device statement on product page): "Service Watch Desktop for Complete Digital Experience Monitoring starts at $4 per month per desktop."
Notes / Key features & pricing details:
- Pricing is flexible: mix-and-match synthetics and real-user monitoring; switch between synthetics and RUM at any time.
- Pay monthly or annually (annual pre-pay discounts available). Credit-card signup available; invoiced/annual purchases possible.
- Volume discounts and multi-year (term) discounts available; custom quotes for >25 credits or multi-year purchases.
- Some network sensors are less expensive or monitor multiple endpoints (e.g., sensors that monitor 5 servers/URLs/hosts/DNS addresses).
Discount options: Volume discounts, pre-paid annual discounts, multi-year term discounts, and custom quotes for large purchases.
