Despite security content that may reference vulnerabilities and exploitation, the platform does not function as a production vulnerability management tool for scanning assets, prioritizing remediation, or tracking patch SLAs. Organizations still need separate operational security tooling for discovery, risk scoring, and remediation workflows. Using it as a substitute for vulnerability management would leave gaps in asset coverage and governance. It is best treated as training and skills assessment rather than operational risk management.

Hands-on labs typically require dedicated learner time and baseline technical familiarity to be effective. Teams may need onboarding guidance to avoid frustration for beginners, especially in more advanced modules. Some environments can require specific network/browser configurations and stable connectivity to complete exercises. This can increase enablement effort compared with purely video-based learning.

Skills validation in lab environments may not align one-to-one with an organization’s internal competency model or external frameworks without additional mapping work. Training leaders may need to translate platform progress into role requirements, job levels, or compliance reporting formats. This can add administrative overhead when standardizing evaluation across multiple departments. Organizations with strict certification or audit requirements may need supplementary documentation processes.
