What is OpenGTS

UI and UX are dated
The default web interface and user experience are generally less modern than many commercial fleet and delivery applications. Teams may need additional front-end work to meet usability expectations for dispatchers and drivers. Mobile-first workflows and polished operational dashboards may require customization or third-party components. This can increase total implementation effort for customer-facing deployments.
Limited delivery operations features
While OpenGTS supports tracking and geofencing, it is not primarily a distribution execution system. Capabilities such as route optimization, proof of delivery, driver task workflows, and customer ETA communications are not core strengths out of the box. Organizations focused on last-mile delivery operations may need additional software layers or integrations. This can make it less suitable as a standalone distribution platform.
