Plan & Pricing
Pricing model: Pay-as-you-go (percentage-based trading fee) Free tier/trial: See Free plan/trial fields below How pricing is applied (from official BidSwitch docs):
- BidSwitch charges a percentage of media traded (the BidSwitch "trading fee"), and that fee can be assigned to either the Buyer (DSP) or Supplier (SSP) depending on commercial terms (Flexible Fee Assignment). Billing is by invoice at the end of the billing period. (Official docs discuss invoicing and Flexible Fee Assignment.)
- Distribution Pricing: an alternative model that applies pricing on the traffic received rather than the media traded; it must be enabled on the account (contact account manager/support@bidswitch.com). (Docs describe Distribution Pricing as configurable per Targeting Group.)
- QPS/Exploration QPS: BidSwitch uses QPS controls and Exploration QPS is explicitly stated to carry no additional fee. (Docs state "You will not be charged any additional fee for Exploration QPS.")
Example (documented in BidSwitch support docs):
- The documentation uses an illustrative example: "Should the Buyer bid $1.18 at auction, $1.18 is the price of the bid sent. If the BidSwitch fee is 8%, then BidSwitch will invoice the fee of $0.094 separately" — this appears as an explanatory example in the official docs, not a public list price or guaranteed rate.
Notes & how to obtain exact pricing:
- The official BidSwitch documentation and protocol site describe the fee models and invoicing but do not publish a standard public rate or a public tiered/pricing table. The docs instruct partners to contact their BidSwitch Account Manager or support@bidswitch.com to discuss enabling Distribution Pricing or to get commercial terms.
Summary (usage-based): Pricing model: Pay-as-you-go (percentage of media traded; distribution-pricing option available) Free tier/trial: See fields below Example costs: Official docs include an illustrative 8% trading-fee example (used for explanation only; not presented as a published standard rate) Discount/options: Flexible Fee Assignment (buyer or supplier billed), Distribution Pricing (account-enabled), QPS controls and SmartSwitch configuration. Exact commercial discounts/volume tiers are not published on the official site; contact sales/account manager for quotes.
