- Minting requires blockchain gas fees except when using Rarible’s "Lazy Minting" on Ethereum which allows creators to create (deferred mint) with zero upfront gas cost (buyer pays gas on purchase). Gas fees are variable and paid to the underpinning blockchain. Creators can set royalties (up to 50%) on secondary sales.
